Annual Events
Since 2011 we have been providing students in the Greater Austin area with the necessities to begin school. Each student receives a backpack with school supplies according to their grade level. These items are given to residents at the Springdale Garden Apartments, college moms at the Jeremiah Program, students at the Texas Empowerment Academy, and many other local families in need of this service. With your help we can continue to be successful in this endeavor.
Our annual Thanksgiving dinners are catered to individuals and families in the Greater Austin area. Currently we serve all residents at the Springdale Garden Apartments, the Jeremiah Program, and the Settlement Home for Children. We also offer meals to other local families on a needed basis. Our goal is to continue this effort, in addition, collaborate with Mission-Accomplished, who give away 200+ meals in their annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway.
Our annual Christmas toy drive is also catered to individuals and families in the Greater Austin area. Since 2012, the residents of the Springdale Garden Apartments have been the recipients of many of the toys. This service is also provided to other families and organizations in and around Austin, Texas. Our goal is to continue this effort and collaborate with like-minded organizations with similar visions.
